Australian Volunteers International (AVI) supports partner organisations across the Pacific, Asia and Africa, helping them to achieve locally-led change and realise Sustainable Development Goals.
Collecting stories of change from around the world, Synergistiq compiled a series of case studies, spotlighting how the Impact Fund, part of the Australian Government’s Australian Volunteers Program, is enabling local organisations to best support their local communities.
From creating apps to track endangered wildlife in PNG or promoting new women-owned businesses in Mongolia, Synergistiq staff relished the opportunity to engage directly with fund recipients, recording and collating their stories, ideas and suggestions to contribute to recommendations for the ongoing design of the Fund.
Synergistiq acknowledges Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognizes the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past and present.
