Melbourne based not-for-profit, social enterprise Scarf transforms the lives of young people seeking protection, and those from refugee and migrant backgrounds, by getting them into work while adding flavour and heart to the hospitality industry.
Read Scarf’s Impact Report developed with Synergistiq’s findings:
Synergistiq worked with Scarf to develop a complete project logic model for the organisation, conduct an impact evaluation of Scarf’s programs and build a cost-benefit analysis tool. Our approach was collaborative, working closely with Scarf’s key staff in an effort to enhance their skills and confidence in evaluation and provide tools they could continue to use into the future.
“The report contained a wealth of data (both qualitative and quantitative) which has been incredibly useful for communicating our social impact to stakeholders, in particular our partners, donors and customers. It's helped us improve our program delivery and the experience and outcomes for our participants (young people from asylum seeker, refugee and migrant backgrounds facing barriers to work)”.
